well, we went to HGM KFC later after the movie,
like after we realised that bliss cafe is not open YET.
and we saw CARSON!!!

gawd, I tell you the movie had
totally the wrong ratings and stuff.
FORBIDDEN KINGDOM. - action film.

To christ and the rest;
FORBIDDEN KINGDOM. - Comedy!!!!
gosh. i almost laughed the entire movie away.

LET ME TELL YOU WHY.
from the movie....
little sparrow: " her family all died when the jade emperor came to burn the whole village. "
christ was thinking... the scene has like only her and this traveller. who is her?
then i asked mama. next to me...
mama said; "they did a direct chinese to english translation."

AND SO I HAD TO LISTEN TO THE LEAD ROLES;
TALK IN THIRD PERSON PERCEPTIVE
THROUGH THE WHOLE FILM.

and then later into the show; when little sparrow was dying...
little sparrow; "I........I....... thank you."
ME, Mama and Zinc. BURST INTO FITS OF LAUGHTER.

the scene of the jade emperor blowing
the traveller back into his own timezone/land.
was PURELY HORRIBLE.
yes, he BLEW THE GUY....
